This location was diffucult to reach. Western fjords in Iceland are a specific place to drive with many gravel and no barriers roads. This place was on my photography trip map. Over 320 km driven one way to get to this place. Church is located in Rauðasandur, which means “red sands” cause of the endless beach with sand in red color obviously. It’s hard to meet a human down there, it is quiet and you can hear just a wind and ocean. This church painted black looked so amazing on the fjords background. This is why I used the Tokina 11-20 mm f/2.8 wide angle lens at 11 mm to show more details of the background. Thanks to “Tokina Polska” and “NEXT77” who supplied me with this gear. This photograph is my souvenir from that location. This is the result. For higher resolution and more Color Digital photographs visit the gallery
