This place you will find in every tourist guide book. Unlike every Wonders of Nature in Iceland it is human made. However it’s colored glass facade is inspired by the basalt landscape of Iceland. Harpa was designed in cooperation with Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson. Concert Hall was opened in 2011. It is a perfect place to play with light, reflections and geometric minimal frames while taking photographs. While I have visited Harpa it was raining all day long. Despite that fact I took the opportunity to show what’s under the “roof’ in Reykjavik. Because of shooting inside Harpa and it’s size I used the Tokina 11-20 mm f/2.8 wide angle lens at 11 mm for this photograph. Thanks to “Tokina Polska” and “NEXT77” who supplied me with this gear. In future I will definitely visit again Harpa, hope during the concert next time. For higher resolution and more Color Digital photographs visit the gallery…
Additionally I am attaching below setup preview of taking that photograph. “The making of” picture was taken with mobile phone.
