This Waterfall is called Hengifoss. Waterfall is located in eastern Iceland. It take about 1 hour one way of walking to reach it. It was one of the nature attractions where you won’t meet crowds of tourists. Additionally I was lucky because I had over an hour without anybody to take my dream shot there. Hengifoss is the third highest waterfall in Iceland, it is 128 meters. It is surrounded by basaltic strata with thin, red layers of clay between the basaltic layers. To realise the size of waterfall please notice that on picture my lovely Model-Assistant is posing on the rock. It shows the right perspective of how huge this waterfall is. I used the Tokina 11-20 mm f/2.8 wide angle lens at 11 mm to capture as much details in one shot. Thanks to “Tokina Polska” and “NEXT77” who supplied me with this gear. Waterfall and river in one frame convinced me to stop the time and freeze the movement. My Model sat motionless for 10 seconds. This is the result of it. Additionally I am attaching below setup preview of taking that photograph. “The making of” picture and video was taken with mobile phone.
